30 in 30, CAN!
I'm speechless as I sit typing my thirtieth blog post! Although I planned to succeed, I thought life would happen. A few posts were completed while watching the clock, thinking ... don't blow it, you can do it! And I DID IT!
As those that made it to the finish line before me have said, the 30 in 30 challenge starts out for the points and something else evolves; a sense of belonging, inspiration, education, relationships, camaraderie, accomplishment, support, prioritizing skills, fun, laughter and so much more.
The funny thing is, life did happen and I still accomplished my goal. We, as individuals, have to put our needs wants and goals on top of our to do list and not on the floundering list of, well when I have time.... Yeah, ok, that pile is a bit full.
ActiveRain is a phenomenal network where the curtain truly is pulled back for the public to see what we really do. Real estate is not a 30-60 minute reality show. It's a fascinating and comprehensive industry, full of dedicated, self motivated entrepreneurs. A group which I am proud to be a part of! We do so much more than stick a sign in the ground and collect huge paychecks. It can be messy, dicey, fulfilling and joyful just like life.
ActiveRain member blogs help fill in the gaps of the ‘stuff' we aren't taught in a classroom. A significant amount of real estate knowledge is gained through experience (trial by fire). It's also a place to demonstrate what we have learned.
ActiveRain is a place to share exciting news, and my safe place to fall when things have gone bad. It's a win, win, win environment; we benefit so much by sharing and receiving, giving and taking of industry information and personal stories and so does the public. Perusing blogs here in the rain is addictive and nourishing! ActiveRain, a real estate industry network for the soul.
I am thankful for ActiveRain, and for my fellow ActiveRainers who share with, challenge, encourage and support me! This is just the begining, I have completed the challange, and plan to continue my journey of learning and sharing, here in the rain!
