The Comptroller of Maryland is actively looking for the rightful owners of Unclaimed Property. There is no statute of limitations to claim the property, not real estate BUT cash, insurance proceeds, and other valuables reported to the state as unclaimed.
What if a relative had a safe deposit box filled with cash, never told anyone and you are the only legitimate heir, too good to be true? You won’t know if you don’t search. It’s free to search online and I think it’s a shame for the state to have all this unclaimed property that belongs to someone just like you & I. So go check it out!
